Maize Whiskies
Maize whiskies are distilled for their flavor from maize distiller's beer - that being either majority-maize or supermajority maize. There are different types of maize whiskey.
Bourbon Whiskies are distilled from a mash of malted barley, at least 51% maize, and commonly a third grain for accent.
Corn Whiskies are distilled from a mash of at least 80% maize, traditionally with malted barley and and a thrid grain for accent. Some are now distilled from 100% maize.
