Brandies
Brandies are distilled from wine - being either true wine fermented from grapes, or fruit wines fermented from other fruits.
Fruit brandies are distilled from fruits other than grapes. Apple brandy, applejack (American apple brandy), Calvados brandy, most German spirits labeled as wasser, and many French spirits labeled as eau de vie, are fruit brandies.
