ThoroughbredsSinglesRed Wine (neat)

A gill [4 fl-oz.] of red wine has been a common drink for centuries among English international merchants and the upper-middle class of the extended English-speaking world (and, recently, those who fancy being confused for either). The shape of the goblet has changed somehwat over that time (see below) and the cultural sense of the amount to be poured has been lost. But, wine's milieu within the Anglosphere has held steady. Something is known about the English-speaker who always prefers wine – perhaps more than intended. Said and true that may be, this mixer of spirits would not refuse a bit of flirtatious red Morgon wine, if offered.
