Traditional Slings
Traditional Slings are spiced Slings – or Slings that are unaromatized. The terminus ante quem for the Traditional Sling is a publication from A.D. 1759.
The default spice in Traditional Slings is nutmeg, but mace is also advised.
Plain Traditional Slings are sweetened with plain, white sugar, or with simple syrup made of it and water.
Fancy Traditional Slings are sweetened, at least in part, by ingredients that have both sweetness, and other flavors.
